Has anyone noticed that Republicans don't really create wealth?

They're just good at raiding safety nets and pensions. They're also good at giving themselves lavish lifestyles at the expense of workers and taxpayers.

A danger to America's future the way they drive government into the hole.

I mean, how did they ever take the high ground?

and as they're expert propagandists, their raids prevail.

Of course its PEOPLE/LABOR that creates wealth. (Someone else said that; I've not studied economics.)

who believed in limiting government oversight of private industry so that those industries could create wealth; in the past, that did happen and the context was that in past periods they had more to go after as they tried to reduce the FDR New Deal programs, lower top marginal tax rates from 90%, etc.

After many decades of tax cuts, program cuts, deregulations....wealth was certainly created--but it pooled at the top.

Aand at the expense of environment, workers, etc.

Huge amounts of money and not paying it back.

Even if it bankrupts the country.

They are good at taking welfare (corporate welfare) which costs a helluva lot more than what our country spends on all the programs for the poor.

Or at least, when not doing that explicitly (which is often), rig the system so that it happens automatically for structural reasons.
