ANN To GOP Critiques: “Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,”

Ann Romney says fellow Republicans who’ve criticized her husband need to “stop it” and realize “how lucky” the party is to have Mitt Romney as its nominee. … “Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”

maybe she thought....ok, we'll just give x amount of dollars & they'll fall in line because it's our turn now!

Or their justification for not releasing more tax returns is because democrats would use them to attack them more! Did she think he could run for president without ever being attacked or having to defend a position? Who's out of touch? Mitt likes to say that about Obama but clearly it's the Romneys who are out of touch!

It reminds me of when Bush said (in one of the debates) "this is hard work!"

...or idiot, or ... fill in the blank. Or, your spouse (either gender) saying, "My husband/wife is not a crook."

Sending out The Dutiful Spouse to do damage control ... or ... cluelessly being the source of the damage requiring an Unelected Family Member to counteract.

Being led ... or being preached to.

Voter outrage or spousal outrage.

to put out there. Santorum was thinking about the health care problem, but we haven't even gotten to that yet. And this week Romney is bragging about being the grandfather of "Obamacare".

But still, I would have enjoyed seeing Cain or Santorum or Bachmann as the candidate for pure comedic value.

The Romneys are just disgusting.

Something I said all along was that the OWS mentality was a strong factor even though Occupy hasn't been in the daily news cycle this year. Nobody on the Republicans side seemed to see any problem with picking arguably the worst example of 1% greed and arrogance in the entire country.
