White House "concocted a positive feedback loop" to trick Trump into thinking he's doing a good job

White House "concocted a positive feedback loop" to trick Trump into thinking he’s doing a good job
Staffers reportedly share fawning media commentary and craft charts with statistics that back up the president

-------------

According to a former administration official, White House chaos is "an unmitigated disaster."

Amid the dysfunction, aides have found a way to trick Trump into thinking he's an effective leader.

"What's more, with polls showing Trump's popularity on the decline and widespread disapproval of his management of the viral outbreak, staffers have concocted a positive feedback loop for the boss. They present him with fawning media commentary and craft charts with statistics that back up the president's claim that the administration has done a great — even historically excellent — job fighting the virus," the newspaper explained.

The newspaper quoted a "senior administration official involved in the pandemic response."

"Everyone is busy trying to create a Potemkin village for him every day. You're not supposed to see this behavior in liberal democracies that are founded on principles of rule of law. Everyone bends over backwards to create this Potemkin village for him and for his inner circle," the official explained.

The newspaper flushed out who makes up that inner circle.

A positive feedback loop would work like this:
1) President does actual good things
2) People around him present him with great news about how good he's doing
3) President then works even harder to do more and better good things
etc.

What's going here ... is most definitely not that.

Well ... I mean you COULD call it a Feedback Loop of sorts ... it's just that it's one made up of treachery, deceit and lies.

This is basically what is very well explained by Mary Trump in her book and what she has tried to state very clearly in her few interviews.

Donald J. Trump is a monster. Whether he was born a monster (nature vs nurture) can be debated by the professionals. It’s probably both. But what is very clear to me is that it was definitely “nurture” or rather lack thereof and that a small toddler born into a dysfunctional family with a cruel sociopathic and emotionally abusive father and an absent abused mother suffering both psychologically and physically (she almost dies and was gone for nearly a year while her children and little Donald were left with the monster Fred Trump) created the monster we are all living with now.

If you were to get the full picture, in the Trump family you are either the victim or the victimizer. The abused or the abuser. Her father Freddy Trump, Donald’s older brother, died at 42 and literally, died in a cot in his parents Fred and Mary Trumps ATTIC.... not even on a comfortable bed in the huge house where each of the kids had bedrooms even though they were adults living elsewhere. Sick - literally torture and abuse.

Donald Trump became a victimizer and abuser like Fred Trump and what enabled him was everyone around “feeding the monster”. And he grew and grew and grew and got worse and worse. Donald Trump is a 1000x worse than Fred Trump and whether it be what you see he has done with the victimization of children in cages to the mishandling of the pandemic and hundreds of thousands dying and millions of suffering, this is what an abuser with power and enablers does. And it won’t stop unless the enablers are stopped and he is stopped. It’s only going to continue growing and getting worse.

The Republican Party and all the enablers around him in the White House to his Kids to the right wing media all are enablers and feeding the monster. It has I am afraid gotten to the point that the monster is unstoppable and as Mary Trump has tried to explain, the enablers himself are now what is making it impossible to stop him and if they don’t, we are doomed.

Literally.

absent, was the hired help abusive, too? Nannies and housekeepers - did they abuse little Donnie? I am SICK of hearing about how he had an abusive childhood, when many people do yet they find themselves growing up to be functioning adults. I can hardly wait to get an ADULT into the WH, and help them clean up the disaster that will be left in his wake. The entire gop plus everyone who worked for him in the WH are all to blame for this mess. Not a single one amongst them has the courage to expose the truth about this fake. Are they all hoping for book deals, I wonder?

Sadistic pain, sexual violation, torture, personal degradation are all reinforcement on the table for a truly deviant personality disorder. Having seen some of these people in a clinical setting most folks just do not have clue how low the depths human behavior can descend. This creature seems to enjoy human pain and suffering it is quite possibly his reinforcement. There are some people in this world that do not conceptualize like the majority of people or are reinforced by behaviors that are culturally accepted behavior. Unfortunately people such as Donald Trump can find similarly minded deviants they are not that uncommon. No one is entirely feeding this monster against their will even those who fear him.

I think that's where most of us fall short in evaluating the tRump administration.

Many of us still have the ingrained small-town based belief that most people have a degree of morals and really don't want to hurt others. Clearly, that's not the case with this bunch of miscreants.

When studying the meaning of psychopathy, I recall they said somewhere around five to ten percent of any given population will be psychopaths to some degree. I soon came to believe Trump has a special skill for finding and hiring them.

positive shit and gather all of that to show to him. And he even had staff fighting over who would get to present him with this good news. I remember reading this from the first few months he got into office.

and they don't want to be the object of his wrath.

Also, as long as he's happy and calm they can go on about their business of destroying the U.S. Government, grifting and updating their resumés.
