My 79 year old husband gets his meds in the mail. So you fuckers can't fuck with it!

This keeps him from having to go out and get them. He doesn't like being house bound but he understands why it's best that he not go out. The great thing is that he doesn't have to rely on memory to get them refilled.

This thing was all worked out to everyone's satisfaction and now he's worried and upset.

This alone would be enough for someone to vote for Biden. But he's already a good Dem and would never vote for a Republican. Ever.

DH takes about 8 medications and we depend on the mail order which works great. Many people are forced to use mail order including veterans. The very folks that may be Trump voters are dependent on mail order prescriptions. More from the “pro-life” party.

Insurance insists many times that you get prescriptions by mail order, at least the maintenance medications that you take every month. Insurance also won't pay for duplicate prescriptions to be out there.

That's their scheme, I'm sure--drive people to use the private services which will be on their best behavior in terms of timeliness--until the USPS is gone. Then just watch how service reverts to the lowest common denominator, to make more $$$$$.

Its not just the don't leave (he goes out and about with mask/social distance), but the cost and difficulties of getting a second filling of the same prescription. So first you have to contact the doctor and explain, no meds arrived, there still somewhere. Next up you have to get to the pharmacy, and now comes the insurance problem. Your insurance company is going to deny because they have already filled that prescription, so its out of pocket. The only solution I know of is what I had to do on a trip when I lost my script. I contacted the doctor, and asked for a run of 10 pills (time left on the road). I was lucky could be done and I had only brought the amount needed (to save space) with me.

People expect it will have to be subsidized because it serves everyone at every address in the US.

It’s now up to Democrats to hammer that message to Americans. Trump is trying to divide and conquer on the issue. Younger folks, I assume, use the PO far less than the older folks. That’s the division Trump is trying to exploit.

is about to hit the fan shortly. Trump and his obstructionist are about get slammed by their Funding Benefactors who depend on the USPS as their major provider of service between them and their Customers.

This Bullshit attacking the Mail is coming from the Heritage, and the Federalist groups. Interesting as it is,the Koch,Walton,Ulilin,Johnson, and other big time donors to this two groups, are dependent on the Mail service for them to survive. Their Direct Mail service is the first to be hit if they keep playing this game.

gets almost 100% of his goods and services as well as Meds via mail. Oh btw,his Rural Mail Carrier doubles as the eyes and ears for the Counties Social Service Agencies. And this is the model used by most Counties across the Nation. When mail is not picked up by the owner, then a welfare check is ordered, unless the Carrier puts eyes on the owners or a neighbor fills in the blanks.

He lives in one of Minnesota's Reddest Counties, and when you are twenty miles from any major population center, his Mail in his life line as well as his Cell Phone.

When you are pushing 85 with health issues, you are not going to mess with maskless idiots which dominate his County.

a couple of years ago my wife ditched the script by mail thing after a couple incidents where her meds got lost and she had to beg for a few pills at the local pharmacy to tie her over. they worked with her doctor and were so helpful we decided to switch. Thiis way any issues can be resolved locally and quickly.

and I'm sure this is a huge concern for them that is being addressed at their end in some way.
ITM, though, I have an almost 3-month supply on hand.

Since they're expensive, I already require signature delivery to me and am wondering if that helps at all or not in the least.

We need more information about any kinds of mail that may be delivered without interruption. It may be that specifying drugs be sent other than standard shipping (expedited, 2-day, overnight, etc.) will get them off the track to the USPS's new "pile in the corner" destinations.

I know they love the impeached President and his tax and de-regulation policies. Why are they silent on his bid to destroy critical infrastructure (USPS) that makes commerce work cheaply and efficiently?

If the dictator ordered speed limits for highways and railroads be set at 20 mph, would they have the same reaction? What if electricity were only available four hours per day?

I just don't get the self-destructive blind loyalty!

and corrupt as hell. They're part of what created trumpism, not an answer to it. There is an American Chamber, but both serve business. It's not their job to serve us.

Btw, the USCOC tried to get international laws changed so that nations with anti-smoking campaigns had to pay damages to tobacco companies. The goal, of course, was to suppress government anti-smoking campaigns, including spread of health information, increased taxation on nicotine products, no-smoking zones, etc.

They're still and always at it. THAT's who these people are.

Got your attention? My VA by mail scripts are basically required by the VA, to keep Vets from having to come in. So many are Heavily dependent on mail in because of immobility. This also keeps the overcrowding at the Hospital lower, especially now because of exposure to so many extremely vulnerable hero's. The GOP hates veterans. We are sent to their for money wars, die or come home fucked up, and They are just.....fuck you, “it is what it is”. Veterans, for this war, know who the enemy is and why we are at war, I never hated any enemy more than this regime.
