1. The fundies love Pence, and they are about all His Lardship has any more.

I don't see him ditching Pence at this point.

4. Who do you think he would replace him with?

He'd have to be more of a fundie than Pence.

I think one of the reasons that some fundies support Trump other than judges is that statistically, Trump is due to have massive heart failure anytime. That would mean their version of a true Christian would become president.

Trump doesn't get along with them or barely tolerates them even if they are sycophants. A large portion of the fundies would not appreciate a man being replaced by a woman. And is Haley as big a darling with the evangelicals as Pence is? Honestly don't know, but it would be hard to be so.

6. I know that his being replaced has been floated by "some people"

but I can't imagine it happening. He'd be pissing off right-wing Xtians for no discernible reason or gain, especially at this late stage in the game and with no apparent signs that it is going to happen.

...out of shear desperation and knee jerk reaction not because anyone will be better/worse than Pence. The comments on Pence being a comfort to the hard core funders and the fundamentalist crowd are probably very true. But Trump could try to get more women on his side by pulling in Gov Noem of South Dakota or similar. It will look like a desperation move and I don't see there is anyone that would be willing to be VP that Trump could call on that would move the dial in his favor. Folks of real substance and respected like Colin Powell are long gone and out of reach.

13. trump needs pence to pardon trump

According to most experts, trump cannot pardon himself and so one option is to resign just before Jan 20 and have pence pardon trump. This only works if trump has not screwed pence by replacing him on the ticket

I don’t know if dumpie could find a bigger suck up, but the real thing he’ll keep in mind is his pardon. I suspect it’s even been discussed

Being Trump's #2 in this election would be the kiss of death.
