Everyone is telling me it was extremely depressing. I have it set to record at midnight. Will watch tomorrow.

(20,237 posts)disposition or mood that her explicit and right on delivery would have influenced me already having foreknowledge in my soul of the deterioration happening.

(90,645 posts)...even diehard fans like me have to take a break.
I dont normally drink to relieve stress, but I made a dent in a bottle of Sangria at dinner (Rachel comes on at 6pm here).
I admit today I was off-kilter due to reading Skinners farewell letter I cant even describe how hard his opening line hit me until I read his letter all the way through and realized DU was going to endure.
Anyway, I always recommend Rachel because shes so good but there are times we all need a mental health break from the madhouse that is our country in 2020, and for me, today was it.

(31,382 posts)I've been spending a lot of time in the last few weeks sorting through design questions for the house being built for me. Expected to be ready in December. I'm moving from my fabulous 17th floor view in a downtown high rise apartment building because in the era of coronavirus without therapeutic treatment it makes no sense to be here any longer for me. I made the decision in April to give up the apartment and move to a single family small house with a courtyard so I could be outside and enjoy plants, flowers, and a fountain.
If Joe doesn't win in November, it will make me wonder why I bothered. My passport is no good, thanks to the complete disaster of not appropriately managing coronavirus in the US. I will turn 70 on my next birthday. I cannot imagine living out the rest of my life in a country headed by that orange sack of $hit con man and wannabe dictator. It really is a terribly depressing thought.

(61,694 posts)can turn out and get rid of this madman. I said in an OP that if my father could go fight the Axis powers, I can wear a mask, grab my wipes, and go vote in person on election day. Fighting fascists is at stake here.
