he was on Erin Burnett's show and he said Romney had wiped out the convention bounce obama got and the race is now tied. he also claimed Romney was leading in New Hampshire.
he said a bunch of other crap also but it was hard to listen after he said the above.

(10,000 posts)It was something like "The Five Reasons Things Might Not Be So Bad for Romney" or something like that.
The salient points were:
1) The polls have a pro-Dem bias
2) Dick "Toesucker" Morris says that Obama's leads are predicated in blacks and Latinos showing up in unrealistic numbers.
3) The convention bounce has flattened.
My takeaway: They are trying to keep deapair from setting in over in Republicanland. They haven't lost yet (we are still seven weeks out), but early voting begins in many states the week after next, and Rmoney hasn't covered himself in glory lately. They are going to continue to make the case that the race is close.
Our job - keep attacking. Keep demanding Mitt's tax returns. Keep hitting them on stupid Libya comments; the 47%; bad spray tans; and whatever other self destructive behavior in which Rmoney engages.

(21,925 posts)He seems to have highly contentious moments with everyone who interviews him and treats people with contempt. I'm surprised he gets invited back. His unpleasant demeanor is one of the worst advertisements for Romney that I can imagine.

(45,558 posts)He's on air to defend the Republican Party just as we have people on the Democratic side touting how we are going to win.
To be honest with everyone, I know how the shows are going to break, who is going to say what.
Until they actually ask questions that are not just fishing for the talking points, I will get my news from the internet sites like the NYT, Buss Flash and of course, all the links that are posted here on DU.

(45,558 posts)It's why the local news spends so much time on sports and weather.
Because it's beyond their capability to put together anything deeper than standing outside a 7/11 that was robbed to tell us this 7/11 was robbed.
It's a fucking joke and the dumbing down of America is going to bring us down.
