It was a tough and expensive call to make. It was also the right and obvious decision to make. The public health far outweighs the country's love of football.
On a political note, football fans will be reminded whose fault this is when they vote in November pissed off because there is no football this year.

I'm going to guess that two, maybe three games will be played and then there will be a huge outbreak of virus in some teams and they will finally shut down.
