Schiff's district is reasonably secure, so that's a plus.

I have reason to believe Kamala Harris would put the buzz in Gavin Newsom's ear that Katie Porter is totally up to the job and would deliver in spades. Unfortunately Porter's district would probably flip back.

I would be happy with Ted Leiu, but like I said, there is a boatload eminently qualified people to consider.

Hell, even Xavier Becerra, California's Attorney General, and former congressman, could kick ass, and his job would essentially be finished with the orange anus's departure.

It's going to be fun speculating what our governor will do.

He would make a good selection for filling the remaining 2 years of her seat.

Man I would love to see Jerry Brown on the Senate floor lecturing the Repukes.
