Just wanted to add that Kamala also worked alongside Beau Biden and they were friends.

It has to be a special comfort to Joe to have Kamala with him, knowing how much she admired Beau and they had a great working relationship. I know it would have that effect of me, if I were in Joe's place.

Decency, a sense of humanity, dignity, love of colleagues, respect for a co-worker -- all this must be a huge source of reassurance for Joe as he goes forth to restore character to our government in Washington.

What a wonderful thing happened today!

5. They were both AGs in Delaware.

I don't know what cases they developed together but I am sure we'll find out more very soon! There will be plenty of speculation as well I'll bet (my son is an Assistant DA in Brooklyn, NY and I am aware of his project which is ongoing).

I wish I knew more about what knitted together their friendship but I think it had to do with brain cancer which, of course, is what killed him.

7. Ah yes, the mortgage foreclosure mess

Harris and Beau Biden both served as attorney generals – she of California, he of Delaware – and began working closely together while negotiating with banks during the foreclosure crisis in 2011 and 2012.

She pulled out of the fist 50 state deal settlement with the banks, and everyone went nuts. She then started over reached out and created a coalition with 11 state AG's and cut a much better deal. An equatable deal that the public could be happy with.

I believe this was the period Kamala Harris recruited Katie Porter to nail down the bank fraud. And Boy howdy, she did.

It's fair to say she gained national attention when she rode in on the white horse and took the mortgage institutions to the woodshed.

It was a huge win for the citizen of the nation, Baby! Perhaps the Trump supporters need to be reminded that Harris pulled their bacon out of the fire.

I never knew of the Beau Biden connection, but I'm not surprised he was involved

Perhaps consider putting your package of information about Kamala in a thoughtful post, maybe bullet pointing the facts you wish to feature.

I am not being snarky here. If it is important for you to post about it in a roundabout way, it should be important enough for a well thought out and expressed post listing the points you have against our candidate for Vice President.

I asked you what Biden and Harris worked on because I truly didn't know, then you dump on me. Sorry.

pulled myself together before unloading unjustifiably on you. For some reason I thought you were being sarcastic and of course you were not.

I apologize. I hope you will accept it. It is sincere.

Yesterday was MY bad day. Bad fall in am empty tree pit in the sidewalk. Dislocated finger and a hell of a bruise on my thigh. I immediately pulled my finger straight and set it, but I passed out a block later (shock I assume). Fire department declared me fit after poking me for twenty minutes.

Then the icing on the cake was this morning when I put the buzz in the city engineer's ear that they should look at and address the empty pits. They had the audacity to blow me off and tell me it was the property owner's responsibility. I said it's city property. They said, no, it's responsibility of the property owners connected to the sidewalk. I said yes, the property is owned by the city. Pregnant pause, then, OK, we'll send someone to look at it.
