I did not need to be stimulated, cajoled, enticed, to vote for a Democratic candidate. I am not selfish enough to ask what they will do for me. I want them to do for all of us.
That said, I am thrilled with our two Democratic candidates as I would have been for anyone on the ticket.
Vote.

(42,302 posts)I do not need to be motivated, or have a "reason" to vote for our ticket.
In truth, I never have. I support the candidates and party who I believe will do the best for this country.
Because it's not about me. I know you know that.

(1,656 posts)like they were not excited in 2016. This has the potential to really ramp up so many voters--especially young people of color and many women.

(205,233 posts)That I'd sooner vote for the next person who drove by than Trump - and no one disagreed with me. We are very fortunate to have such qualified candidates this time around, all we need is to GOTV!

All I want is a simple nights sleep every few days. Not that much to ask.

(25,472 posts)insult Democrats -- milquetoast -- CANNOT be used to describe Kamala Harris. Another stupid buzzword goes down.

(9,988 posts)I have disagreements with both of them on specific policy issues, but that's not as important right now as knowing that this is a team that can WIN and win big, and get us closer to being on the right track.
I would have voted for a rotten half-eaten hot dog fished out of the dumpster if it's running against the Dump(ster) and I'm not ashamed to say so. This ticket is good and give me hope and I am NOT ashamed to say that having a woman of color on the ticket is so, so very important.
