Biden's VP pick was a logical choice

POTUS candidates always have, and probably will, be required to consider just a few major issues when picking a running mate.
The common issues are economics, human rights and support for future benefits the federal government can provide society. 2020 is no different.
I think Biden had two major issues to consider;

1) Judicial reform.
This issue is at the forefront of the American mindset in 2020. We know there are huge problems in how our police are trained and funded.
We clearly do not want local police coming directly from international war zones and applying those military tactics to civil law.
Kamala Harris was and is, the best choice to bring judicial reforms. Another critical choice Biden can make, if elected, is who the US Atty Gen will be. He will need to pick a very aggressive legal progressive. A person who is a master at legal process and can refute Trump's SCOTUS puppets; maybe convincing Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh and Gorsich to simply resign once their dissents are shown to be partisan instead of serious judicial thought. Harris would be able to do this, as the VP or the Atty General. Biden chose well by picking Harris. She is no Mike Pence and the nation will see what Pence really can offer in repairing the mess Trump created. Oh wait...Pence is a huge part of the mess and voters will not see Pence endorse reforms.

2) Economics.
Capitalism can always create more income, it's designed to do that. Any economy can gets into serious trouble; usually from war... but equally as a result of idiotic political actions and stunts; pandering tax cuts that don't really benefit society as a whole, ill-planned trade tariffs based on imaginary boogeymen and of course the nonsense that America is near bankrupt. We generate $30 Trillion annually, and if compared to the most common individual "debt threat" -- a 30 yr home mortgage, our potential $900 Trillion is useless and no bank will ever give us a mortgage. OK conservatives you keep saying we are broke and we will never make any money....EVER!
We need to spend money to operate as one of the world's nation states. All nations must do that. A VP pick for economic reasons, like Susan Rice, would be effective in repairing the horrific economic damage that Trump and, more importantly the GOP has caused since Reaganomics started targeting our societal needs as the enemy of economic progress. The pandemic is and must be a separate cost, policy does not mutate genetics. Policy mutilates fair economic practices.

We all want better and Trump has allowed us to focus ( or be woke) on some very specific changes that go beyond want, and become need.
America is superb at reforms and we need to eliminate the obstructionists, meaning neocon economics (think Kudlow-saurus) from the table.

Voter can and should punish the GOP for the mess they created and Biden's VP pick of Kamala Harris is certainly going to force the GOP to confront it's own outdated ideology. The 'tar pit' of history is now, clearly visible and voters only give the GOP that last little shove.
