So, don't go through the charade of being nominated at the convention, Bernie.

Are you not aware that the ONLY source for that rumor is the Fox "news" website? Why would you post something like that?

(32,640 posts)3. Reuters:
United Auto Workers (UAW) President Rory Gamble and Sanders sparred on Monday in a phone call over the senators plan to have a former autoworker union leader nominate him for president at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), people briefed on the matter told Reuters.

(10,427 posts)7. Thanks,
that article didn't show up in my search. That seems like a discussion of using a UAW location for a procedural nomination.
The comment I replied to seemed more in line with the divisive crap in the Fox "news" article
Reuters sent it to my phone.
Thanks, ehrnst.

(10,427 posts)10. Thank you. However,
as the Reuters article states:
Although Bidens delegate numbers mean his nomination is a formality, other primary candidates are still expected to be introduced to the audience as nominees as part of the pageantry of the week-long event.
It's just a customary formality. Fox "news" remains the only site slanting it in a shitstirring way that I've now seen a couple posters use here today. Unlike the smear being attempted, Sanders is not demanding to be nominated as a way of causing trouble for Biden.

He should just endorse Biden with grace at the convention and forget this bullcrap.

Isn't that nice? Don't you think that's nice? I think that's nice.
