Kanye West needs to give up. Maybe Kanye has some close friends to talk to. A friend to help him see the light! Come join Biden and Harris and become a do gooder!

(16,352 posts)I don't expect Kanye to say that slavery was great, and was a choice, and that Harriet Tubman sold slaves to white people. Or his deeply misogynistic on abortion and marriage.
And then there's the whole question whether or not Kanye is merely a tool of the GOP, or if there is a Putin component to what he is doing. I never liked Jarad or Ivanka, or Stephen Miller or Gym Jordan. At one time I liked Kanye. That's why it's irritating.

(12,265 posts)This guy is clearly mentally ill and refusing to take his meds. There is so little a family can do, this I am more than well aware of, the courts won't do anything, the police can't help, nobody. If they are an adult, they can stop taking their meds, etc. as long as they don't do anything violent. Now, he is an African American man, if he does something violent, the police will murder him, that is the bottom line.

It is pretty awful.

(90,633 posts)We know the GOP is behind this by this time its an open secret.
I dont know if Kanye is even all there (his wife tweets about mental health issues) but this I do know: he is being used by the GOP.
I have no doubt their operatives gathered the signatures, or rather, sat down over drinks and made them up. I have no doubt their lawyers are doing the filings. Those are the ones who need to be charged with crimes.
As for him, no way do I want an unstable actor/rapper in Joe and Kamalas campaign.

(26,064 posts)I really don't care for Kim & Co., but there's no reason for any of them to be in prison. They are all hard workers, no matter how gag their product is, and Kris Jenner was one of only two friends who stood by Nicole Brown, and who freely talked to Marcia Clark.
Don't care for them, but they aren't criminals, and Kim has done everything she can to 5150 Kanye.

Theyre leading a person who literally wouldnt be allowed to make legal decisions for himself into being a factor in a national election that affects hundreds of millions of lives.

(3,383 posts)Don't get me wrong. I want to see hom do some time too. Especially after that Harriet Tubman nonsense. He needs to see what it's like.outside of his gilded, privileged bubble.

(63,221 posts)I know his wife is trying to get it for him, but when you are that famous, it's kind of hard to be comitted to a mental institution.
The last thing we need is another doped-up, bat-shit crazy, raging narcissist running for president. It's bad enough with one of them.
Seriously, if they can't commit him to a mental institution he should be in prison for election fraud, at least until the end of November. We really don't need this kind of crazy right now.
