(5,637 posts)spaceflightnow.com did a great video job. Fly overs after Sacramento / SF to include Monterey Bay Aquarium, Vandenberg AFB and Long Beach before LA passes.

(36,214 posts)Last time I saw a space shuttle, it was flying overhead at night, on its final approach to Florida. I watched it fly over then stood and marveled at the sky a bit before returning to the house. In that short period of time, the shuttle had screamed across the nation, landed, and was sitting on the ground cooling off!

(53,339 posts)Ten minutes ago. I walked out the door, heard it, looked up--and there it was. I fumbled to get my camera out but it was too late, lol. Hope to catch it again later when it flies back to L.A.

(21,741 posts)Century City from the 16th floor of the office building I work in. we have a vast view and it will be flying over the Griffith Observatory and Getty Center so I am hoping to catch it flying around there somewhere and I brought my camera to try and catch it. It's exciting.
