Info on August 4th voting/absentee primary voting in Flint Township/Michigan

In Michigan, 2.5 million voted, up from 2.2 million in the 2018 primary. 1.6 million absentee ballots were submitted, compared to 1.3 million in the 2016 General Election.

Just in Flint Township, where I live, 6,680 ballots were sent out and 5,480 were returned. In 2016, 1,788 were sent out and 1,631 were returned. They started counting the absentee ballots at 7:30 am, on the 4th, finished at 11:30 pm and completed the paperwork at 12:40 am.

They are anticipating around 14,000 ballots for the November General Election.
