Immediate Remedy For USPS Sabotage

According to the Daily Kos, (https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/8/13/1968935/-Immediate-Remedy-For-USPS-Sabotage):

Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Colorado, and Utah use 100% vote-by-mail in their elections. These states should go to the Supreme Court in a lawsuit against Trump and DeJoy (postmaster general) so that under the “original Jurisdiction” rules in the constitution the case can be brought directly to the Supreme Court, commencing with a request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction.

18 US Code Section 1701 et seq. makes intentional delay or obstruction of the U.S. mail by any person a federal crime.

I voted for the first time by mail in the last primary. Pa. Pa. is being sued over its mail in ballots. I keep checking the status, I will do whatever it takes to cast my vote.

No one is talking about this in conjunction with trump trying to prevent mail in voting. It is harder to cheat with mail in voting. I have been voting into a machine with no paper trail. It is far easier to rig voting machines by pre-programming them than it is to cheat with paper ballots.

I'm in Colorado. We have other methods in play and we DO want people to vote.

#1 is that we use drop boxes everywhere so people have direct contact with the election division office in their county and don't have to return their ballot via the USPS.

#2. People can register to vote, receive a ballot, and vote at the various Voter Service Centers set up around the state up to 7pm on Election Day.

#3. People can get a new ballot if they didn't receive the first one and vote it at the various Voter Service Centers set up around the state up to 7pm on Election Day. It will process immediately as received and the County Elections Division office will receive it via drop box shortly afterwards to be counted.

#4. People can check the status of their ballot at the various Voter Service Centers set up around the state and, if the computer system shows that it hasn't been recorded as received at the Election Division office, a new ballot can be printed that will supersede the original sent ballot and record that one as received so it will go into the drop box and be received shortly thereafter via drop box at the County Elections Division office.

NOTE: The drop boxes go through a procedure of ensuring they are empty--viewed and verified by two people. Then they are locked and tagged and not opened again until they get to the Elections Division office to be processed and counted. People slide their ballot through a slot on the drop box.

There are enough states involved that they represent a substantial number of total voters.

If I were Trump, I'd get my personal AG and his hand picked crew to foment a call to delay the election. Successful or not, there will be enough confusion and partisan attitudes running amok that MANY folks will be forced to look at the REAL possibility of a physical conflict, a civil disturbance of immense proportions on their street. In the face of that possibility most will allow Trump's guys to do whatever they want, constitutional or not.
The only hope, then, is that, prior to Nov.3, the senate will change it's mind about removal of POTUS after all. But remember, the bad players in this horror show do not care about this nation or it's citizens one whit. Civil war in America is the closest it's been for a long time. For them, it's just another option.

Some kind of problem with communications systems, since the astrological event chart for the 2020 election showed the planet Mercury, which rules transportation and communications, coming to a station and going from retrograde to direct motion on the very day of the election. And when a planet is at a station, the strength or volume of its influence is turned way up. And for the three week period before the election that Mercury will be retrograde, it will be making some key hard or difficult aspects to important points in America's natal chart. So I knew that there would be some kind of communications problem adversely affecting this upcoming election - I just didn't know exactly what form it would take. So, this whole USPS problem doesn't really surprise me - it fits right in with what the astrology chart for the 2020 election predicted.

One thing's for sure - this will be THE big problem with this election in November. I personally think that it's fine and dandy to battle what Trump is doing in court, but we must think and take action beyond that - like coming up with alternative ways to deliver those ballots that can bypass USPS if necessary. Any ideas?

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has reportedly started to remove mail sorting machines from Post Offices across the country.

The process of removing those machines has stoked fears that President Donald Trump and his allies in the executive branch are intentionally sabotaging mail operations in order to diminish the capability of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to sort and deliver mail-in ballots in a timely fashion for the 2020 general election.

“Tampering with the mail and federal elections are crimes no matter who does it,” federal criminal defense attorney Tor Ekeland told Law&Crime. “Just because you run the bank doesn’t mean you get to steal the money. This reeks of mail and election fraud–the scheme to defraud using the removal of mail sorting machines without reason as a means to inhibit mail in voting. These are felonies and should be investigated and prosecuted appropriately.”

According to Vice News‘s Aaron Gordon, union officials and postal workers say that “facilities around the country” are being stripped of mail sorting machines “without any official explanation or reason.”

The outlet claims 19 such machines have been decommissioned–or will be decommissioned in the immediate future–from at five mail processing facilities. And apparently none of the day-to-day workers or leadership have been given any clue about what’s going on.
