CNN: Kamala Harris throws Trump off balance

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/08/13/opinions/kamala-harris-throws-trump-off-balance-ghitis/index.html

PCNN)Everyone knew that Sen. Kamala Harris was a frontrunner to get the nod as Joe Biden's running mate; everyone, it seems, except President Donald Trump and his brain trust of loyalists and paid staffers.

How could they have been this unprepared?

Snip

The news has thrown Trump visibly off balance, and sent his campaign flailing just as badly. Even his chorus of cheerleaders at Fox News is having trouble deciding what to make of Harris -- further evidence of what a smart decision Biden made.

Much more at link. Superb article that will have dotard raging.

They have definitely increased their ad buy as they show up in my feed a lot. Perhaps, it is because I crossover and view a few fox clips from time to time (that's probably it). I should have known better.

Presenting FACTS with a style that is going to make them pees their pants. Foe Kamala Harris communicates with people. She reaches them in ways that makes her one of them. Her story IS an American Dream story. Her values and principles are what makes her the person to be the next VP of the United States and perhaps President.

No matter who the Republicans put up in 2024, they are going too be in for a world of hurt. Trump and Pence are in for a real world of hurt as well.

Biden is currently ahead +5.2% in Florida
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/florida/

Florida is 16% black, 26% Hispanic, 3% Asian, 53% white

A strong non-white turnout makes it really tough for Trump.

Here's a poetic thought:
The black vote surges to throw the racist out of the White House
= another lesson in Black Lives Matter (Really!)

I loved election night 2008 but the above would be very sweet.

Because of what chump has done to our country. But '08 was sweet! I had tickets to Grant Park that night & it was beyond amazing!

It was the reward after suffering through JFK, MLK & RFK assassinations, Watergate, etc.
Barack Obama is my favorite President of all time.
Being at Grant Park would have been amazing - witnessing wonderful history.
'12 was a pretty darn good time too.

If Blacks rise up as a meaningful constituent to collectively throw this racist pig out of the White House, that would probably be enough wind in my activism sails to last me the rest of my life. It would be so gratifying to see them take their rightful place again, steering the direction of this country permanently away from the racists.

I do not think that is a pipe dream either. I think it is far more likely to happen than not.

'08 was spectacular & I share your appreciation for 😍bama & his family, too!

History in the making, in a good way for a change! The energy was incredible!

Yes we will get the racist pigs out this time!

I sure hope we take several states & the Senate, too.

Not sure what all would be involved, but my dream is to get rid of the electoral college!

turn Texas blue

When the demographics there shift (and they're heading that way), I do not think any racist will be able to get into the White House without CA, NY & TX electoral votes. Add IL, the west coast states & New England states and you're almost there.

That's more probable to me than trying to get the constitution amended - though I would love to see the Electoral College eliminated.
