If Trump can cripple the Postal Service so easily, why not the Defense Dept.

...if Mr Putin requested that he do so. Perhaps that would be a convenient thing to do while Russia invades Ukraine or Romania.
If there is a second term (life long term) than he will feel so bold to do so. Who is going to stop him, and how do they plan on doing so?
There is no effective constitution at that point.

1. Well, the 2-3 months between election day and inauguration are worrisome by itself

He will try to burn down the world, and especially the country, when he loses.

5. If he does lose, the one hope on that front would be that any major damage would require

the cooperation of others. Will he find others to cooperate in damaging the US after he loses the election? Surely, they would know there would be consequences for them once the Biden Administration takes power.

8. Nero committed suicide after being declared a public enemy - after Galba was declared

Emperor by the civil and military leadership and he, Nero, was tried in absentia (having fled Rome).

I'm just gonna leave that there without further comment on the current situation.

2. I think CV19 is responsible for a lot of it -- sick/quarantined workers and on-line

shopping increase.

Here’s an article from May, where 45% of Federal worker CV19 deaths were postal workers.

“U.S. Postal Service: The mailing agency has seen 60 postal workers die from symptoms related to COVID-19. About 2,400 have tested positive for coronavirus-related disease while a whopping 17,000—or 3% of the USPS workforce—have been sent home on quarantine.

I bet it’s more now.

3. Trump is using the virus to suppress the vote

And stopping the USPS from effectively carrying mail in ballots to every eligible voter’s home will certainly prevent votes from being cast.

4. The PO will get the ballots there. Order them early, return them right away.

If there’s a problem, go to the darn polls.
