Do you suppose that our favorite imbecile realized that he was standing in front of a bust of Suleiman The Magnificent, which hangs in the U.S. House of Representatives, as he 'credited' Obama with creating a new Ottoman Empire in the middle east?

The bust hangs in the U.S. House of Representatives, along with the likes of MOSES and other 'great law writers' from history as an example of a wise secular law giver from the Ottoman Empire.

The Ottoman Empire was probably the most moderate and secular empires of its age. While it was lead by Muslim emperors, many of the emperors advisers were Christians and Jews. Furthermore, the Ottoman emperors made no attempt to force their non-Muslim subjects to CONVERT to their religion.


Clearly, this fat-headed Troglodyte doesn't know the difference between the Ottoman Empire and the CALIPHATE that many of the middle eastern fanatics advocate.

I don't think Gohmert, or any of his idiot followers realize it, but if Obama ever DID succeed in kickstarting a new Ottoman Empire in the middle east to replace the tinderbox of petty dictators and Muslim extremists who currently rule the place, it would be an INCREDIBLE accomplishment.
