Why don't they have the text number on the screen at the Convention ?

Many of our speakers keep referencing a number for people to text: vote30330

But, they never superimpose that number on the screen.
Why not?
In fact, it could just stay up in the upper left hand corner.
Just the marketing guy in me that notices things like this.

3. There were some skilled people putting that together. I don't think it was an oversight.

I worked in direct mail many many years ago. It was surprising the things that made people act. Like for instance, when you put a call to action on the top right of a page, it worked better than a call to action on the top left.

It might be that leaving it on the screen makes the viewer immune to it. Maybe there is better response overall when you mention it so people actually act on it when it is said. Or they write it down, which is them engaging with the number which makes them more likely to use it.

4. I've watched it through Amazon prime

and the text number is displayed throughout the presentation. MSNBC did not. I think the standard DNC feed has it but MSM has replaced it with their own chyron.

9. I had the same thought. I heard Elizabeth Warren say it but she said it so fast I was not

able to get to my phone in time and it isn't that easy to remember how many 3s and 0s.

10. It scrolls across the bottom of the screen on a regular basis

when watching via the DNC Roku app or on You Tube.
