Every time I see a Trump commercial on TV I smile

even though the content of the ad may make my blood boil because I live in Texas and I know that if he's having to spend money in Texas he's worried that he could lose here. And even if he wins here, money spent here is money he's not able to spend in North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Ohio or Florida.

I'm not as tough as you. I have to change the channel when his ads come on . . . or risk ruining my tv by hurling something at it.

I hit the mute button with one hand, and show the middle finger of the other hand to the TV (unless using that hand to ingest medicinal chocolate). Helps to stave off the nausea from seeing that orange smirking face.

There's really no scenario for him where advertising in Texas is the difference between wining and losing the whole election.

In any scenario where Biden wins Texas, he's also winning the more traditional battleground states anyway. So the only point of advertising in Texas is to lose only by a little instead of by a lot. Or maybe to help cornyn.

Donnie needs to improve his national numbers so that Texas is no longer a battleground state.

But I'm more than happy for him to continue to campaign as poorly as he runs the country....

Next thing you know he'll be posing with million dollar checks for everyone that are "in the mail." Of course, the mail is really, really slow now so you probably won't get your check until after the election.
