The camera showed Lyin' up on the stage in the background, talking and waving his arms around, while seniors - quite a few of them! - walked (or were pushed in their wheelchairs) past the camera on the way out. They did NOT look happy. At all.

The woman knows that she doesn't need medicare...sh has more then enough money to survive without it. And, I guess you could say this is a case of a mother helping her son...but the reality is that he's just using her as a prop.

He brings mom to convince the elderly voters that he would never deprive his mother of medicare...always failing to point out what should be obvious, that his mother doesn't need medicare, because she can pay for any health care she might need.
