Just more greed. "I want and I want NOW! NOW, GOD DAMNIT!!"

Edit: This post is not about the energy aspect of the commercials or organization it is about the idea that American's only care about having more jobs and having them right now.

When someone throws that line at me I generally respond "Do you shit where you eat?" I am constantly amazed that so many people can't understand that we live in a finite world. We're pushing the limits of capacity and every foolish and unsustainable action taken is KILLING people.

There are a lot more US jobs in retrofitting homes and businesses with ingenious conservation technologies, building more mass transit systems, restoring and greening our infrastructure, building wind and solar energy systems where they work best.

There are a lot more US jobs in expanding our mix of energy sources, rather than blasting our shale with toxic chemicals and poisoning water supplies, or drilling everywhere right now in spite of the oil industry's neglect of applying the billions of our tax dollars given to them to improve their clean up technologies.

It isn't greed, it is self-preservation.
