(14,164 posts)The problem is that it won't do any good if only the die in wool Dem States file suits. Trump and his R governors are targeting the swing States and the Red States that are on the verge to swinging back D.

(18,486 posts)The suit was filed in DC federal district court, which has jurisdiction over the postal service. If the court rules against the USPS, the ruling would apply to all of its activities, regardless in what state.

But more important, the suit was filed in DC federal district court and asks the court to block any substantial, nationwide changes to service from being implemented without first seeking an opinion from the Postal Regulatory Commission.
If they prevail, the ruling would apply nationwide and would be huge.
