I just finished two focus groups. All women. All 2016 Trump voters who think hes doing a very bad job. One group from NC, one from AZ. The two groups were wildly different. But one thing was consistent across both groups: No one is watching the conventions.
One person. One person out of both groups was watching the conventions. I had a whole series of convention-related questions that I couldnt ask.

(1,184 posts)4. As an oratory buff, I enjoy conventions,
But they have admittedly become infomercials (or in the case of the RNC, disinfomercials). I hesitate to say they're obsolete, but it sometimes feels like it.
If you're still undecided at this point, I expect you're a low information voter, the kind whom I worry is swayed by the vicious, dishonest rhetoric of the Republican convention.

(32 posts)5. I've arranged polls and focus groups in the past
That's abnormal. And I assume they were screened in advance to get a good cross section. Thanks. It's significant.
