Please go to http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/251/Studio-Fix-Powder-Plus-Foundation/index.tmpl, the page for the product that was supposedly applied to Mitt with a heavy hand to make him look like an Oompa-Loompa.
The shade NW30 that was apparently applied to our favorite punching bag is at the right end of the third row. It's a lightish, warm tan shade. A very lovely color, good for Mitt in all respects. But you could use the whole container on him at one time and still not turn him Boehner orange.

(10,199 posts)because it looks like a bad application (or three) of self-tanner.
The makeup people at Univision prolly tried to even the mess out with Mac NW30 as best they could.

If anything, Univision evened it out for him. If the makeup person believes that to be a natural tan, well, .

(2,391 posts)Is he that stupid that he thinks a bright orange 'tan' disappears naturally in two days?!
bluestate10
(10,942 posts)Then my skin starts to have gentle peel, removing the tanned skin. Romney being snow white after two days is impossible. What happened is that Romney was ready to speak to lilly-white audiences, a tan would have been a problem. So on went a scrub and off went the fake tan.

(50,529 posts)I wonder how long Boehner's bright orange "tan" lasts? Maybe Romney should start going there.

(50,529 posts)The retail price of this product is $27 according to MAC, not $44. I thought things were supposed to be cheaper on the internets.

(114,904 posts)furthermore, why would Univision lie?

(2,391 posts)More than two days, I'm sure. Not Willard's.
Univision was Wednesday. Here's Friday:

Poof! Did he apply Tan Be Gone?! Or does he have freakish cell regeneration without peeling?
As for why Univision would lie, why would they bus in Willard's supporters and let him dictate his introduction? That makeup person wanted to remain employed.
My thinking...Romney's handlers told Univision, take the blame for this or you'll receive no access to the Romney Administration.
Fortunately, there was a convenient peon to dump it all on: the makeup artist. Most people don't know the MAC color codes, including many of their customers (MAC is a department store brand; they put it on you before you buy, so there isn't the need to know those codes), so this is one they thought they could get away with.
The other prob with this lie: MAC doesn't have anything that will turn you Boehner orange.
