For the past hour, I've been trying to listen to MSNBC via TuneIn.

With the exception of a few brief moments of regular programming, all I get is a maddening repetition of, “The station you are listening to is experiencing technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience. Your program will return in a few short moments. Please stand by.”

Anyone else? Is it paranoid to wonder if they are censoring Ali Velshi?

I always have refresh the page on my phone, and start over.

I take it this "technical difficulty" isn't usual for you?

7. I don't conclude that. I listen a lot on long walks with the dog.

Most of the time, I am able to listen. I just don't think their MSNBC source stream is as stable.

TuneIn always works without a hitch, but I'm also having connection problems with my streaming TV apps too, so maybe it's the internet.

I’ll have to check out the podcast of Ali’s first hour when it’s available. From what I could glean, he was covering some hot topics.

8. There's an abundant amount of shortages that happened from early this morning.

Here's a full list from Down Detector. If one can find the map of the shortages, it looks like a global problem. I was thinking that it could be a satellite problem or maybe a solar flare.

13. I had to do a hard reset of the Sling app during Velshi.

Everything else worked (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, & local antenna channels), but Sling is our Xfinity replacement option. I had to find the actual EXIT and start over. It's working now.

14. I stream MSNBC through a number of websites.

Favorite is 2ndruntv.com. Usually very reliable and will stream uninterrupted for days. Not today, Very glitchy and encounters errors on their server and on my browser.

I've also used livenewsnow.com, livenewsmag.com and Planetnews.com, noneof which are as reliable as 2ndrun and they also have a lot of buffering and errors.

No idea what's going on.

17. I have a different issue with YouTube on my iPad.

I get a popup alert saying, “YouTube crashed. Would you like to contribute anonymous crash reports for this and future crashes to help us fix issues like this? Yes/No”

The screen behind the alert is greyed out, even though it will play the content of whatever link I clicked before the alert popped up. This has been going on for months. I don’t trust the alert, so I won’t click Yes/No. Sigh.
