House members who vote yes might go down in popularity if they impeach him this close to the election.

Unlike many other impeachable offenses he has committed, this one is so utterly plain and simple, and strikes a blow at the very foundation of our country.

To *not* impeach over it is, to me, mind-boggling.

Impeach again and as a separate matter, also start using “inherent contempt”, a perfectly legal tactic to forcibly bring in people to testify.

I think the timing is off now.

I think we should pour our energy, heart, and soul into getting Joe and Kamala elected by the People. Whatever that takes.

There is nothing to stop us from preparing for a second impeachment, and letting the GOP know it's coming. I would file charges during the interim period between November and January. The entire composition of the Congress might tip to our benefit in November. If we took back the Senate and held the House, then we would have a chance of convicting him.

Along with Trump, I'd file against Barr.

What good would any of that do? You know he is setting up to protest the vote and involve the SC. We will STILL need to remove him from office in November! He's going to run amok in November and during the end of his regime. If we could control the Senate, we could remove him from office at that time and maybe prevent some of the damage he will try to inflict on us. We could make his SC run moot.

I don't think that all the House Patriots are just sitting there. There will be something afoot.

when Trump plans to claim fraudulent voting, and a delay in transition. The Senate may well be sitting there voted out. They might want to posture a bit.

You never let the enemy rest. Trump will savage us if he loses. We should have impeached him a second time, for sure. But, Nancy didn't. I think with this last "vote twice" crap, it is at least as offensive as the Ukraine scandal.

I don't know if an attempt to deny election results has to be the entire Congress or not. If only individual Critters can file a protest, then Trump might be sitting there with no Senate protection, waiting for the SC to rule. We can get him then.

But first, we have to win. Then second, take the Senate. Might as well draw up Articles of Impeachment to have them ready. I'd like to see Trump sitting there from November to January with this threat over his head.

I want to see Drump go down in history as the first president to be impeached more than once - and McConnell to go down as the Archenabler.
