For what it's worth, I don't think the Republican base is very much happy when he goes on those discussion paths, and you even see him mocked and ridiculed for it.

Because that is when the Virginia GOP primary is going to be held.
And Paul and Romney are the only ones on the Virginia ballot for the GOP.
Everyone else failed to make it on to the ballot because they didn't submit the minimum number of registered voters required to get on that ballot.

I think the GOP is referring to that day as their "Super Tuesday" primary day.
More like "Super Snoozeday", if you ask me.

Today it was reported that some billionaire gave Gingrich $5 million dollars so his campaign can continue.
Must have been through one of the Super Pacs floating around because that is way over the $2000 dollar limit.
