Dubya (or "Shrub" to Molly Ivins) never went overseas, yet managed to go AWOL anyway.

His two opponents, Al Gore and John Kerry, went to Vietnam and Bush still got the military vote over them.

Also, tough-talking guys like Reagan and John Wayne never served one day (while the Allies were fighting fascism).

And then there's the picture on DU the other day of Fred Trump decked out in full military uniform. Was he a loser, a sucker, or both? Knowing Donnie, Fred was meeting a dominatrix who outranked him.
