Imagine asking the President of the United States about pressure from any leader on the fugging planet.

Great answer President Obama.

I detest Steve Kroft

I'll bet there are too many people out there who are clueless about the extent of GOP obstructionism.

Because they're "intransigent." Or did someone give him that question and he not understand the definition?

they don't agree and can't compromise.

As much as we hate the right for not even trying to come half way....this is what people are worried about...that nothing will get done.

Actually, a fair concern

The only way we can move forward is to win the House.

Or, just settle for holding the evil bastards at bay.

Kroft wanted Obama to say something akin to Romney's statement, that he will never convince those people and need not worry about them. Uber fail on Kroft's part. It's not merely that Obama's too politically smart for that (though he is). It's that Obama doesn't feel the same way as Romney about those who don't support him. Kroft can't wrap his head around that, since he's contemptuous of the public as well.

If Obama had resorted to threatening intransigent GOTPers to cooperate or face serious consequences, he'd have gotten things done.

All kidding aside, I don't think he was aware, until recently, of the conspiracy hatched by Lyin', the Box Turtle, Agent Orange, and Frank Lunk to sabotage the economy to make the President look bad.
