Of course, everything they forward on Facebook is something someone else said at one point, because they are apparently incapable of independent thought and checking sources. A bunch of them were up for a wedding, standing in my kitchen. One of them says to the other, "I don't know what I'll do if Obama gets re-elected." The other responds with, You know, I was listening to Glenn Beck, and..." I just walked off and didn't even bother to listen. It's not as if it's possible to change the minds of people so severely brainwashed.

Of course, one of them is such a cheap motherfucker that he didn't even give a gift to my brother-in-law, despite his paying a couple hundred dollars to watch that cheapskate's kids during the wedding. This was also after the free dinner and boat rides they enjoyed. Another brainwashed cousin gave $50, on behalf of 4 adults who attended, and she pitches a hissy-fit if my sister-in-law doesn't give her kids stellar gifts for their birthdays. A perfect example of the "I've got mine" mindset.

My uncle, who lives down in Houston, is one of the most frothing racists/"conservatives" I've come across in a long time. You couldn't pay me enough to live in that state. I feel sorry for many of those who live in Austin and San Antonio, because those places are surrounded by Texas.
