go back to the early 50s and get more information than this from John Cameron Swayze in 15 minutes on a black and white television set. Today's news seems to be a way for former politicos to get some recognition for supporting a would-be has-been.

boardwalk...LOL. Swayze and others delivered the news with no personalization or editorial remarks. Just straight news and I miss it.

I am no fan of Rudy (how did the command bunker in building 7 work out for us Rudy?) but it was he who was "in charge" in days after 9/11. George Pataki was the guy standing behind Rudy, occasionally saying something incoherent in the mic but adding nothing to the discourse.

You know, like he does (doesn't) nowadays....
