General Discussion

did the absentee voter thing this last June here and that worked well since we can track our ballots
and I made sure that they got into the County Clerk's hands.
Now with the efficiency of the USPS in question, I recalled that in every election here prior to this
last June we always voted in person, usually during the early voting period. The last election
where we voted early and in person my son and I were the only voters in the very large space
provided by the Democratic Party here. The poll workers easily outnumbered us so if that holds
true then we can vote with minimum risk of covid and assurance that our votes will definitely count.
That's what we've decided. We all have to make the best decisions we can to make our votes count!

(4,845 posts)because I voted in the primary using absentee but my state doesn't have a tracker so I never knew if my ballot got there safely. And I want my vote to count on election day to stick it to the orange idiot.

(11,088 posts)I'll mask up, keep as much distance as I can from folks, and do my duty. If I can go to the grocery, I can vote.
However, I'll help my elderly parents to vote absentee.
