Obama has Desecrated the flag!

So Republican idiots are trying to make a HUGE deal out of this Obama graphic. But once again, we see just how hypocritical they are. No problem when Reagan does it -- only when the black guy does. I've had enough of this small-ball crap. Repost to share with all of the hypocrites in your life.

people in both parties doing it and it really bothers me alot. Especially since many military soldiers died for that right to have old glory fly high and proud. That is the only way it should be used.

sees the flag in any form (t-shirt, bumper sticker, hat, flag). They must say it out loud, with their hand over their heart or saluting if they are in uniform.

time. My father-in-law was in Korea and VN and my dad was in VN before the buildup. My own husband retired with 21 yrs. I remember both father and my father-in-law getting upset seeing people wear the stars and stripes as clothing, boots, hats. All kinds of things. I remember them saying how sad it was to see old glory being missed used and yes even being set on fire. Thank your parents for service in the military especially during VN. Those soldiers got a raw deal. But just because you never heard it doesn't mean it didn't happen. In my military home back then and threw my own husband's service we did talk about it.

still talk about things like that. Like I said just because you didn't talk about it doesn't mean we didn't talk about it. It's no big deal. For us in my family it was important. My mother and husband both came here from other countries and have a wonderful attitude about the flag. Every special holiday the flag goes up in our homes. I bet you put one up to.

What is desecrating is people wrapping themselves in the flag and wearing clothes made like a flag. Think back to all those evente where you see flag clothing or just google flag clothes.

U.S. Flag Code, section 4-(d)
The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It
should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to
fall free.

THAT is a true desecration. They put their party logo on the US flag. 'Nuff said.

U.S. Flag Code (4 USC § 8 (g)):
"The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature."

The Obama flag - and even the Reagan/Bush flag - are not actual American flags. The designs certainly resemble the flag, but that doesn't make them American flags. Basically, they're art.
