Or the more general use of Public to mean with other people.
He takes his politics to the pulpit. That right there says he's not a minister, but a partisan preaching politics. Tax the shit out of them.
Churches are fine. Political clubs are fine. You can't be both.
Anti-maskers are like smokers: a minority who insists on their right to blow their spittle and fumes anywhere they please.
They need to sign waivers. No medical care for me, because I don't believe it's real.
