Some of the brand's newest products feature a cleverly concealed note to politicians on the wrong side of history.

3. You may need to take out a small loan

I generally like Patagonia products, but man they're pricey. It's like $80-90 for a simple hoodie or sweatshirt.

They had this quilted sweatshirt I really wanted for a ski trip once, then I saw it was well over $100 for the thing. Hard pass.

4. True -- however they last forever

I have some Patagonia gear that is 10-20 years old and still running strong. They also fix things for free -- for example I had a winter jacket that had some broken zippers and seams unraveling, and they fixed up like new for no cost. Few other clothes I've owned have lasted that long.

6. i buy very few things @full price. I always aim for deeply discounted items and usually can set

alerts or get sales notices in my inbox. I really do like their stuff - high quality & a good sweatshirt w last a long long time. Our young adult kids all love hoodies & love getting them as gifts. We usually give money since they're big now, but i always end up giving them giftbags filled w/ useful stuff as well. That may change when we have grandchildren.

2. I don't know why more companies aren't using this tactic.

"Man-Made Climate Change Is Bad For Business!"

How difficult would it be to start a broad-based ad campaign centered around that theme?

Why do oil companies get to dominate the narrative?
