Obama ! Please do what Rick Perry did during debate

[font size=3.5]Romney is a classic anal retentive. And I don't like anal retentives.

Characteristics are:

---Stubbornness (Refused to not expand his CA beach house; despite his "richy-rich" problems; Picked Ryan against his staff's recommendations; Refused to modify his financial situation, like bringing his money back to US (money more important than the presidency); Refuses to release taxes)

---Fastidious (His own sons said he meticulously planned the infamous Seamus trip (Boston to Ontario) to a tee, even down to where they would get gas (ONLY bathroom stops) and they were told there would be no exceptions) (Vanity Fair - Feb 2012)

---Focuses on Amassing Wealth and Possessions (Romney's personal real estate includes six homes: one in La Jolla, two in the Boston area, a ski lodge in Utah and two lakeside residences in New Hampshire. Romney’s net worth is more than 20 times what it would take to put him in the top 1 percent of U.S. household wealth, yet he still needs to hide it in foreign countries and take the government for all he can.

---Hyper-Defensiveness - Romney loses it when challenged. He becomes hyper-sensitive, his voice rises and becomes stilted, his face turns red, his body stiffens, he loses it.

4. Um, No. Romney actually won that exchange

A bit over-aggressive, but it worked because Perry interrupted him. Bad form. And when Romney challenged Perry on Perry's immigration policy, Perry was silent. Romney had a reasonable (who knows if truthful) explanation for the hired help.

"I am running for office, for pete's sake. I can't have illegals working here."

It would have been OK to have illegals if he weren't running for office.

But he succeeded in making Perry look small. I don't see how he could possibly pull off making Obama look small.

The line "I'm running for office, I can't have illegals working here" AT THE TIME was a "huh" but could have been counted as a slip - a sense of responsibility rather than privilege and PR. But after all the recent revelations, it confirms the hubris and hypocrisy.

15. Perry should have grabbed his hand and pushed it off his shoulder

when Romney put his hand on Perry. I don't think anyone would have faulted him. That was inappropriate.
