Aria DiMezzo was shocked when she won the GOP primary for county sheriff in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, with thousands of Republican votes.
DiMezzo, founder of the Reformed Satanic Church, previously ran for county sheriff in 2018 as a Libertarian candidate.
But when she found out that the previous Republican nominee was no longer running, she joined the Republican party with two days to spare before the candidate deadline.

Oh, and btw, this person, who is running for SHERIFF, has "F**k the Police" on their campaign signs.
This is evidence of "herd mentality", all they saw was GOP/Republican...and their brains disengaged...just like all Republicans!!!
I hope she wins...maybe it'll bring about the demise of the GOP in that county!!!

(4,390 posts)until the rush to be part of the GOP! Maybe the candidate feels she best represents anarchists and can get away with IOKIYAR?
OTOH, maybe the candidate plans to infiltrate and further destroy the GOPs "Law and Order" planks while bringing more "progressive" ideals of those OTHER "human rights" available to those residing in the USA under the Constitution? Some people go so far RIGHT they go LEFT, round and round the circle of chaos. HoHoHo - choose your bias, voters!

(29,322 posts)It seemed to be a test that she didn't think would happen. Her reasoning makes a lot of sense she is criticizing the system. I don't know why I try to play it safe when someone just pulled a bold move like this. I would read the article as she explains herself.

completely and totally oblivious about who they are voting for.
Because the fact is that you didnt bother. You trusted the system. You trusted the establishment. You trusted the party. You felt safe.
You were sure that there must be some mechanisms in place to prevent from occurring exactly what just occurred.
