Stop.

Stop. Take some time. Get organized. Develop a strategy. Don't go off in ten different directions. Resources are scarce. Use them wisely.

Is donating to Amy McGrath the best use of your scarce resources? Not everyone thinks so.

I don't know, but I'm going to wait while things sort out. A donation later in the week is as good as one made in haste, and maybe better.

I have no idea whether this strategy is the best, but at least it is a strategy:

This Pod Save Bros approach is actually much smarter. Note they picked 10 races and McGrath is not on there.

GET MITCH OR DIE TRYING

Since becoming Senate Majority Leader in 2015, Mitch McConnell has stolen a seat on the Supreme Court, tried to take health care away from 20 million Americans, and stopped the Senate from doing anything that isn't confirming extreme right-wing judges to lifetime appointments.

But here’s the good news: Mitch could lose his current job this November. Not only is he up for re-election, but more importantly, the Republican party is defending 22 Senate seats, and they only control the Senate by three.

Here are the top Senate races where we believe your donation can make the biggest difference (in no particular order):

- Colorado
- Maine
- North Carolina
- Montana
- Iowa
- Georgia (both seats!)
- Alabama
- Michigan
- Alaska
- South Carolina
- Texas
- Kansas

These are all subject to change as we get closer to the election, and we’ll let you know when they do! (For example, we just paused on Arizona because that state race is extremely well-funded at the moment.)

This fund starts delivering donations directly to a candidate once the state has decided who its Democratic contender is. For example, when North Carolina Democrat Cal Cunningham won his Senate primary in March, this fund sent over $66,000 the next day. To date, you've donated $133,578 to Theresa Greenfield in Iowa, $148,712 to Jon Ossoff in Georgia, $53,179 to Steve Bullock in Montana, and $80,271 to Jamie Harrison in South Carolina. Now we’ll keep raising to help them all beat the GOP in November. We’ll also be working to hold on to Democratic Senate seats that are crucial to getting to a majority.

Chip in to help the eventual Democratic nominee in these 10 states we’re working to flip through our Get Mitch Or Die Trying Fund. Once a winner is declared in each primary, that money will go to the nominee’s campaign and we’ll start raising directly for them.

Thanks for helping out!

1. Yep. Send that $$$ to Jaime Harrison, instead.

He has a better chance of ousting Leningrad Lindsey than McGrath has of ousting Moscow Mitch. The same goes for the two Democratic candidates running for Georgia Senate seats. These guys are all in close races, and need all the help they can get.

8. Yes. So does "Rubles" Johnson (R-WI).

Of course, the "Rubles" part applies to the vast majority of them, as a whole bunch of them are being paid in rubles.

2. If you've got it, give a little to both. I did and even though its not tactical, it looks good

Maybe she'll get a bump of some kind and feel supported.

I heard that Actblue set a record for the Get Mitch account at something like 100K a minute from 9 till after midnight.

9. ActBlue: why do you have two different campaigns? Can't these be combined?
