Gainesville, Florida is looking very nice this weekend.

This weekend I’ve taken my first trip out of South Florida in the past 6 months and headed upstate to Gainesville.

I’ve seen very few signs for either Biden or Trump in South Florida. Interesting enough lots for local candidates but not many for national ones.

But Gainesville has loads of Biden yard signs on lawns across the city. Virtually nothing for Trump.

Of course Gainesville, as a college town, is a liberal blue oasis in an otherwise rather red part of the state. So I’m not all that surprised.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not happy to see this level of enthusiasm.

Would like South Florida, as the largest blue area of the state population-wise, to catch up a bit in that department.
