1. From what I understand Pennsylvania has made mail in voting extremely complicated

There are two envelopes, and if you only use one, I am hear the ballot will be rejected

Acknowledge the mail-in ballot deadline

Fill out your ballot (in pen!)

Refold your ballot and place it in your “Official Election Ballot” envelope. Seal it, then place it in the larger voter’s declaration envelope.

Fill out your voter’s declaration envelope

Mail — or turn in — your ballot

2. It's not that complicated. There's the envelope with the outside address and one for privacy.

But people need to read instructions.

It's the same way we do mail ballots in RI.

8. Never had a hard time figuring it out myself when I voted the first time by mail

The only difference in Rhode Island is the privacy envelope has more information you need to fill out including witnesses.

14. People can have these things read to them

At the polls, we can help folks who can't read (two workers, one Rep, one Dem, work together) or they can have someone of their own choosing help. Likewise, writing isn't required--even a signature can be a "legal mark".
So yes, you are right, but...(there is always a but, isn't there?)

7. I'm voting in person. I would like to think mailing my ballot is safe and secure...

...but I don't trust these jackasses. I mean, I vote in Indiana, so it won't matter much, but still. It's the principle.

9. But Putin has control of the In Person Machines. You take a chance either way.

Me, I like having the paper trail Mail in provides. I'll photocopy my ballot and put that in an envelope and have 2 or 3 other folks witness and sign.

Probably won't mean much but it gives me peace of mind.

BTW I work in the IT security arena - and no, in my professional opinion, the machines are STILL not tamper proof.

Good Luck and thanks for voting!

...and I agree. However, me voting in person has ZERO to do with my vote (My vote doesn't matter much in Indiana), and 100% with me making a statement.
