He loves early childhood education.

$38k for Cranbrook education - was asked if every pupil in America owed a $38,000 education......Willard not sure if he'd place a dollar amount on an education and not a determining factor in education.

a Denby school students wanted to go to Cranbrook, what would he do to keep Denby school's education standard high.

Willard isn't familiar with Denby School -makes remarks about a school in Philadelphia instead. Williams sits there silent. Willard goes on and on about Philly school.

Pardon spelling errors.

Williams should have asked if a classroom has 60 students in it, how does he think the best of the best teacher could perform.

But he did not.

Williams' obvious "tells". Before the Q&A begins, says he wants to make sure the right people ask questions, some may have an agenda.

Denby School Super asking question about poverty and early childhood education.

Romney brings up Headstart, Bain Capital company's Bright Horizons, then says parents should teach their kids.

NY City Board Member: charters only make up 4%. how would you change school system nationwide so not just poor kids benefit using vouchers.

Romney - free choice free-for-all for all. Brings up teachers and how unions aren't good. Board Member disagrees with union bashing and Board members and parents say unions are good!

Romney gets mad.

Students being taught to the test and it's not all good. Romney says get used to it kid, there are tests throughout your life. Brings up PSAT, SAT. Romney talks about his experiences taking tests in school.

Romney gets annoyed. Says in graduate school students grade the teachers but this kid is probably only in high school.

It's over now - hopefully there will be more to pick over when it goes online.

That alone disqualifies him for President.
Hiding his tax returns alone disqualifies him for President.
He is trying to hit a home run from the on-deck circle.

said Romney looked presidential at this education setting. Said this on MSNBC. What. Was he really listening to what Romney said. Romney did not answer questions given to him. He is anti union ...the states need to come up with the money to fund the schools. And it's all the parents fault. And he doesn't think the education he got would help any other kids because money never helps in education. Let's see let me go back and look at that list of supplies I had to fulfill for my grandson's kindergarten class. I'm going to Costco to get a case of Kleenex and Baby Wipes for the class as the school does not have the funds to get these items. Yea Willard we're on our own alright if you are President.

He says in Mass. parents had to go to some educational classes before their kids went to kindergarten. When was this offered...Many parents are working a couple jobs or can't afford babysitters if it is at night.

He is not in touch.

Yea - that was another gem! Mr. Romney, how is that going to work if both parents HAVE to work!? And there is no way you're going to get a dime from him to pay a babysitter.

I'd really love to know how he would implement this.

The man is clueless on how real Americans live.

My friend is an instructor/counselor for a program in the schools called FAST...which stands for Families and School Team.

She has families recommended by the school to help teach/counsel nutrition, behavior and getting immigrants help in living in a different culture and single parents.

It is free and families spend one or two nights together...Parents are under one counselor and the kids under another. Then they meet and enjoy a meal together...often pot luck that the school provides the food for the parents to make ahead.

It costs nothing for the families...She says it is working. She has about 3 or 4 different programs for families that last about 4 - 6 weeks.

pushing the entire burden onto the schools and states to implement but it's a national concern (he says) and it's going to need some kind of funding from the Fed.(I'll assume), something Romney is vehemently against(he says).

The kids are being used as pawns and the ones suffering the most in the GOP war on education.
