(NV-SEN) PPP: Obama up 9 in NV (52-43 LVs), Berkeley up 4 (48-44 LVs)

(NV-SEN) PPP: Obama up 9 in NV (52-43 LVs), Berkeley up 4 (48-44 LVs)

An absolutely fantastic result via a PPP poll conducted for the League of Conservation Voters. Here's a snippet from Jon Ralston:

President Obama is stretching his lead to 9 percentage points in Nevada and Rep. Shelley Berkley is up 4 over Sen. Dean Heller in a new Public Policy Polling survey taken for the League of Conservation Voters.

The survey, which you can see below and was taken last week of 501 likley voters, shows Obama up 52-43 and Berkley up 48-44. Those numbers are even greater for the president than other public polls and Berkley's lead will come as a surprise considering other results.

Now the presidential result is no huge news, although it's nice to see the President's margin expand. But the key point is that we're continuing to see the benefits downticket, as this is the best result for Shelley Berkeley I recall seeing. It seems as though yet another pick-up opportunity in the Senate is inching our way.

Here's a PDF of the crosstabs.

Sure would be great to hear the president's upswing reported in the M$M. They seem reluctant to.... Tarheel_Dem Sep 2012 #2
Good point re MSM. Romney's campaign is FUBAR, and MSM reported it, but they must "balance," even.. Eleanors38 Sep 2012 #5

This has Obama close to 2008 result. One story that Isn't being reported Is Obama Is starting to poll close to 2008 totals In some states.

Berkley ahead by 4 Is hugh.Polls had shown Heller up by 1.Obama may be helping Berkley surviv ethics charges. You understand why Heller Is distancing himself from Romney.

The MSM may be In for a rude awakening November 6.

when the GOP created the stink. This is false equivalency at best, and pre-empting the GOPers inevitable bully-down attacks on the media at worst. This is the time for the GOP to just let whatever stink they want to; MSM will give them a temporary free ride for the sake of "balance" and "fairness."
