It seems the ONLY rallying cry Brown has is making a stink out of the fact that Elizabeth Warren has Native American blood in her. She never said it was immediate family but just a part of her heritage.
Scott Brown has people at his rally now doing 'tomahawk chops' and other native american chants.
Really Scott? That's the level of class you want to play. That's the ONLY thing you can run your campaign on because your record is lame and Elizabeth Warren has a stellar career.
Scott Brown would be smart to not encourage his supporters to do such racist acts but it seems they just let it flow.
That makes YOU a racist.
It makes me cringe to think this was the replacement for Ted Kennedy - almost as close to the amount of cringing I got when they replaced Thurgood Marshall with Clarence Thomas

Rachel had a segment on it last night, did you see it, Lynne?

(95,337 posts)I don't even have Native American blood in me. But to me those first few minutes opening remarks that Brown made essentially he said to me was this -
'I'm such a loser racist asshole with a shitty record of being your US Senator that the only hope I have evening remotely winning the election is to attack my opponent on something so trivial and sound racist while doing it'
That sums up Scott Brown to me

(31,706 posts)Earlier his "questions" about Ms. Warren's ethnicity resulted in him gaining an advantage in the polls and my bets are his handlers have continued to run this question and gotten some kind of positive response. It also wraps into the "eltist" Harvard professor image that plays well on hate radio...still the biggest campaign tool the rushpublicans are using this year.
As always in a close election perceptions can become realities if they're hammered home to a target demographic...and Brown knows he can't win unless he gets the low information voters.
