Not surprisingly, Van Wert County is a stronghold Republican county in presidential elections. In 2016, Donald Trump won 80% of the votes cast in the county.

You might think this is a lonely place to be a Democrat. You might think it is the kind of place where Democrats have to hide what they believe in. It used to be.

Dan has been working his ass off at democratic headquarters and he is not alone in working hard. He said he is seeing excitement for Biden in rural Ohio. He keeps running out of signs. He can’t get them printed fast enough to keep up with the demand. A group of registered Democrats in his county raised over $7000 to buy all the available billboards in the county. So every billboard will be a Biden billboard. They did this in about 72 hours.

Yep, it was your typical all white, Protestant, Republican stronghold. You were “known” in that town based on which church you attended.

NOVEMBER...this year. Perhaps some states will be the new Virginia. If we win Ohio or any other state and hold the blue wall states, Trump is done. He must keep every win from 2016 and he won't ...polls indicate this to be true. Even winning just the blue wall states would do it, but, I say we win big.

6. In 70 years the challenger has never polled more than 1% worse than final poll

If the final poll showed x% for the challenger to an incumbent President the actual result was never less than x minus one. And more often than not the challenger did better than the poll projection for his vote %. Clinton did 6 points better in 1992. If Biden is at 52, looks good. And the incumbent at best did 2.7% better than he polled. So far so good.
