While watching I was annoyed at how restrained Biden was and how many times Trump interrupted him but in the shower where I do my best thinking I thought more about it ...

Biden is up in the polls. He doesn't need to score every point. He just need to avoid Trump from scoring and run out the clock. Whatever that was that Trump did for 90 minutes didn't gain him a single net vote and he needs millions.

Biden is a smart operator. He knows what he is doing.

debate reactions, and even with Biden's mild push-back, the media seems to be doing their "both sides" crap again. As in, "both sides" were rude and disrespectful and made the debate terrible. So can you imagine what they'd be saying if Biden lowered himself to trumpig's level?

Going after Ivanka et al. under Trump's goading would have seemed petty and just ended up in more jibber-jabber crosstalk, eating up time for other issues.
