‘Please Don’t Let Me Die Back Here’: Aurora Police Video Released Of Woman Cuffed, Hogtied In Back Of Patrol Car

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson said bodycam video released Tuesday appears to show one of her former officers, Levi Huffine, “punishing” a female prisoner who was handcuffed, hogtied and rode upside down in the back of a patrol car for more than 20 minutes following her arrest in August 2019.

“In my opinion she was just tortured back there. It makes me sick,” said Wilson after watching the video again Tuesday, during a civil service commission appeal hearing for Officer Levi Huffine, who was fired over the incident. “We are not judge, jury and executer,” said Wilson. “We are not to treat people inhumanely like they don’t matter.

“And he is lucky she did not die in the backseat of that car. Because he would be — in my opinion — in an orange jumpsuit right now,” said Wilson.

Chief Wilson said she lost count of how many times Kelly asked for help. Wilson said she was particularly struck at how panicked and desperate Kelly seemed to be at one point, saying, “I beg you master.”

You can't trust your lying eyes. Did a trusted friend text it? If it were enough to prosecute the wealthy or caucasian LEO's, then the whole justice system would collapse.

It would be chaos. A madman in the oval office, soulless greed mongers in 60% of the statehouses and the US a mockery of it's former self, leaving a world that looks to China for leadership.

Can't do that. Wouldn't be prudent.

an awful lot these days. Sounds like the department needs a major purging. That poor girl is traumatized for life, she certainly does deserve justice.

What is public sentiment like in Aurora about the police incidents?

popular place. There's a mineral pool. Always remember lots of dragonflies. The rock formations
are multi-colored & you can watch the rock climbers (risking their lives)...! They climb the Flatirons also. I always have to laugh because so many people only think of Colorado in terms of marijuana! It just shows how little they know about the state! Colorado is wonderful & has a lot to offer! Especially Summit County where I used to live. Breckenridge is absolutely breathtaking! In January they hold the International Snow Sculpture Championships. At night the sculptures are lite up with different colored lights. I could go on, but I'll spare you.
Good chatting with you again PatSeg! Hope all is well with your family!

So sick of these police. They aren’t professionals. They are worse than animals.
Wish the “good ones” would wake up and force change in their own ranks.

That makes absolutely no sense. The cops should be arrested. Period. Death should just be a factor in what the charges are.

The chief and other cops can’t see how they just accept assaults by cops. They can’t imagine them being arrested for being violent criminals.

The standard has to be to act on non-lethal assaults not wait until it results in death before thinking - maybe - something should be done.

They keep revealing their true thoughts.
