Hope Hicks has Covid and flew with Trump to the debate.

and then into marine 1. I wonder if she also was one of the idiots in Trump entourage in the debate room. The Trump clique refused to wear masks. Maybe the whole tribe including Trump got infected. We can always hope.

Joe's group could have been around Hicks and Trump people who didn't have a mask.

And if Trump had it during the debate, Joe spent 90 minutes with someone when speaking is worse than breathing.

as large as it was, with folks who were not wearing masks for two hours (15 mins before & after the debate).puts everyone there at some risk.

But the Trump campaign definitely has the higher risk if the report is correct: that Hicks flew to the debate on Air Force One

14. Cleveland Clinic: "Everyone permitted inside the debate hall tested negative"
Thu Oct 1, 2020, 09:16 PM

Wearing a face mask is especially important at an indoor public event like this one because we know the coronavirus is more likely to spread indoors where there's limited airflow. The debate was held at the Health Education Campus in Columbus, Ohio, a facility established by both Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic is serving as the health security advisor to the Commission on Presidential Debates this year, establishing safety guidelines and recommendations for the debates.

During the debate, the venue set up space between seats to help attendees maintain social distancing. It also implemented disinfecting procedures and set up a rapid testing and temperature screening station onsite, NBC News reports. And, according to the Cleveland Clinic's guidelines, everyone in the room should have been wearing a mask.

“As health advisor to the Commission on Presidential Debates, we made several recommendations to maintain a safe environment including temperature checks, health screenings, and masking," Cleveland Clinic told SELF in a statement. "Most importantly, everyone permitted inside the debate hall tested negative for COVID-19.”

So, in addition to ignoring basic public health safety recommendations, the Trump family also eschewed the venue's guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 by not wearing their masks during the debate. That's not exactly a comforting example to set in the middle of a pandemic that's already killed 200,000 people in this country.

You don't start testing positive immediately after infection. It takes a while for virus to replicate enough to be picked up by testing.

Asymptomatic people can spread virus. Some people have tested negative repeatedly even though they were infected and had symptoms.

Remember the hug Jill Biden gave Joe at the end of the debate? She was wearing a mask. That tells me Joe probably was too except when he was on camera. As far as air conditioning, as long as the venue has good ventilation the risk of virus spread is low.

So I’m sure Joe will be ok. I hope Trump is not. I don’t want him to die of COVID as I want him to be humiliated with losing the Presidency, but I do want him to become miserably ill.
